Jose Mourinho has lifted just about every major trophy in the world of football at club level as the Portuguese coach is one of the few managers to have won the UEFA Champions League with different clubs as well as many other significant pieces of silverware including: The Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Coppa Italia and FA Cup just to name a few of his most memorable trophies that Mourinho has added to his collection.
Despite all of the previously mentioned pieces of silverware that the Portuguese has won, he has recently emerged and stated that the trophy which he considers to be the most important of his entire career is a title which is generally regarded to not be as influential or impressive as a few others that Mourinho has lifted throughout his managerial career.
´´For me it’s the most important trophy of my career because it’s the last, that’s the way I look at things. Of course the Champions League is bigger than the Europa League but that’s the last trophy and the last trophy is the one where the feelings are under the skin and it’s obviously a fantastic feeling´´
“For the team it means everything, it means a third, trophy go back to Champions League, means another European trophy, means play European Super Cup in Macedonia next August, means for the club the last piece of the puzzle, it’s now like Ajax is and some other clubs a club with every trophy in the world of football, so it means a lot for me, the club, the boys and the supporters.” Jose Mourinho said as he said that so far, his most important trophy lifted has been the UEFA Europa League which he recently won with Manchester United.
